Hello everyone, today we’re gonna discuss a topic about the “Carton Drop Test”. I would say that, this topic is quite important because as a customer, we want to receive our goods in a perfect condition, right? So, actually, what is the functionality of carton drop test? How do we do the test? Let’s check this out!

Why do we need to do the carton drop test?

This test is done to check whether the packaging of your products (moreover for the fragile products) are qualified or not. In short words, we can say, whether the packaging is adequate or not. In reality, we never know how the couriers handle our products along the way. One of the best ways to prevent any undesirable damages on our product is to test the packaging box. image

How do we know whether the packaging box is qualified or not?

To know how, we need the benchmark…
“The packaged-product should withstand the free drops after testing, as requirement according to the actual packaging status”

P.S: For fragile products, they should not follow the ‘one corner, three edges and six faces’ rule. For these kinds of products, only test 6 faces, or 3 faces, even 1 face and for some cases, the drop test can’t be applied.
